What is School Commission?
- Consultative and advisory body to assist principal and pastor
- Responsible for policy and planning recommendations to the Principal for consideration and/or potential implementation.
- Promote and advance the school’s mission
- Primary concern is the ministry of the Catholic school education: the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of students
- Recommend goals for the school and parish
- Recommend strategic plans including education and financial policies and long-term plans
- Participate in advancement activities
- Communicate to the community.

Member Expections
- Must have best interests of the school in mind including all students, faculty, staff, and families
- Must maintain confidentiality of all meetings, discussions, and plans until formally announced
- Must be willing to serve for three years
- Must maintain the highest level of honesty and personal integrity
- Must actively and fully support commission decisions.
- Must be Catholic and a parishioner in good standing
- Must be a credible witness to the Catholic faith and Catholic moral values
- Must be willing to actively participate in commission activities
- Must attend all meetings faithfully
- Must be willing to follow the discernment process
