Although I hail from the Chicago suburbs, I have spent most of my adult life in Indiana. I completed my Bachelors degree in Biology at North Central College. I then completed my Masters in Biology and Doctorate in Science Education at Purdue University. Go Boilers!
I live just outside Columbus with my husband Andy and our two girls Alex (15) and Cassie (12). We share our home with our dog Blue, Cassie’s guinea pig Skippy, and lots of wildlife in the yard. Whenever free time magically appears, I enjoy reading, cross-stitching, and running.
Teaching science is my passion and my calling. I love to help our young minds learn to ask questions about the world and develop an appreciation for the living wonder in God’s creation. I am humbled by the opportunity to share my passion for science with our students.
