Yamileth Loyo

I am originally from Mexico but have been in the U.S. since the age of 8. I graduated from IU Columbus on December of 2023 as a first generation student. I have lived in Columbus, Indiana for 19 years and it is here where I got married, had our son, and where I completed the majority of my Catholic Sacraments. This is my first year teaching but have had experience in teaching through not only my student teaching at St. Bartholomew but also through a summer camp called “iEngage”. Fun fact? I love avocado figurines but don’t really eat avocados! Looking forward to an exciting year full of learning for not only students but also for myself.
