The school will respond to parent requests for student work in a number of ways depending on the type of student absence. We only use eLearning days if the entire school is closed for inclement weather or other reason.
If a child is sick or has an injury, the expectation is for the parent to reach out to the teacher to coordinate day-to-day missing work.
We will use up to 3 days of eLearning if school is closed due to inclement weather. After 3 days of eLearning, the school must make up any additional missed days at the end of the school year in May.
If there is forecasted bad weather coming, teachers will send home chromebooks and/or packets of work for students to complete. Most homerooms will also set up eLearning class time the days we are out of school, mostly around ELA and Math class times, but the older students usually have eLearning class times for all main classes.
